Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural form.

Definitions

• Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
• Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") refers to Click & Translate.
• Translations means prepaid translation units that can be used within the Service. One translation equals one translation request.
• Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or tablet.
• Extension means the Click & Translate browser extension.
• Purchase means a one-time payment for Translations or access to paid features of the Service.
• Service refers to the Website, the Extension, and related translation services provided by the Company.
• Website refers to Click & Translate, accessible from translate-text.com.
• You means the individual or legal entity accessing or using the Service.

Translations and Purchases

Translation packages

Certain features of the Service require Translations. Translations can be obtained through free allocations for new users or through one-time Purchases. Pricing, bonus tiers, and translation amounts are displayed in the Extension and on our Pricing page.

One-time payments

Purchases are processed as one-time payments. Translations are added to Your Account after successful payment. Translations do not expire unless Your Account is terminated in accordance with these Terms.

Billing

You shall provide accurate and complete billing information, including a valid payment method. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, subject to their terms and conditions.

Price changes

The Company may modify translation pricing at any time. Any price change applies only to future Purchases and does not affect Translations already purchased.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and the refund process are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

• Attempting to bypass translation limits or payment requirements;
• Using automated tools to send excessive translation requests;
• Submitting content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by the Company. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice, if You breach these Terms. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused Translations may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

If You wish to stop using the Service, You may simply discontinue use and uninstall the Extension.

Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any damages You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and its suppliers under these Terms shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or 100 USD if You have not made any Purchases.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising from Your use of or inability to use the Service.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Translation quality depends on third-party AI models and the context of the source text.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, national, or international laws.

Dispute Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@translate-text.com.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, You will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms.
